It is believed that the worship done this month has special religious significance. During this special worship is also offered to Lord Vishnu along with Bholenath. On the other hand, women distribute laddoos in the month of Savan in Churu, Rajasthan. The funny thing is that this laddu is not a common laddu but it is very big in size. This is called Bahubali Ladoo.
On the other hand, in the special month of Sawan, confectioners have orders in advance to make this Bahubali laddu. Parameswarlal Saini, Director of Churu’s Kanha Sweets, told that the mango laddu is of 60 grams, while the Bahubali laddu is a piece of 200 to 250 grams. While it is also wonderful in taste.

Parameswarlal Saini told that to make this special desi ghee laddu, gram flour solution is first prepared in water. Then thick boondi is taken out in pure desi ghee. Then it is mixed in sugar syrup. After this, it is cooled and granulated mawa and dry fruits are added to it and then laddoos are tied. Laddus made with cashew nuts, almonds and pistachios in desi ghee are so special that anyone’s mind gets lost seeing them. Also told that Bahubali laddu is sold at Rs.320 per kg. Dry fruits are the reason for its high cost.
